ABOUT OUR FIRM

Calhoun Law Firm crafts creative legal solutions for businesses and individuals in need of guidance and courtroom representation in the areas of Intellectual Property and Business Law. We assist our clients in obtaining and enforcing competitive rights in their inventions, products and technology, works of art and marketing programs. Our services also include guiding clients in accomplishing many of the everyday endeavors encountered in starting or expanding a business. We do so in a manner which is readily understandable, prompt and cost effective.

Calhoun Law Firm maintains the staffing and professional relationships needed to satisfy the legal needs of our clients, no matter how large or small. When suggested by client circumstances, we implement creative solutions, confident in our ability to work both smarter and harder. Calhoun Law Firm consists essentially of Joe Calhoun, a seasoned business lawyer, together with the attorneys of Jack, Nelson, Jones, Fink, Jiles & Gregory to the extent desired; although Calhoun Law Firm is a separate and independent firm housed within that law firm, on a case by case basis a co-counsel engagement may be implemented.

Mr. Calhoun offers legal expertise that many law firms do not always have in-house; our firm is often retained through referrals from clients' current attorneys or accountants, and we are proud of our working relationships with such referral sources. Naturally when our services are retained through such referrals, Calhoun Law Firm adheres to a "no poaching" policy; the firm voluntarily limits its engagement to the matters it was retained for. And Calhoun Law Firm is privileged to maintain good working relationships with other experienced attorneys, whom the firm may associate on a case if desired.
